Woodstock, IL- Guardian Electric Manufacturing presents our new Multi-Position Solenoid designed for applications where an extended range of actuation points is required.
Normal Solenoids have two positions - Energized and De-Energized. In some cases a third position is required, and the Guardian Multi-Position Solenoid fits the requirement.
This compact design holds the plunger at a neutral middle position with precision-wound springs, and uses the power of the two internal coils to move the plunger up to 0.500” to either side. When power is removed, the plunger returns to the neutral middle position. |
Threaded Plungers
Compared to standard “Nickel Plating” found on normal soleoids, Teflon has substantially less friction. This enhances the performance of the plunger when subjected to side-loading forces and invasive grit or grime.
Built-in Spring Return
Multiple Mounting Configurations.
6, 12, or 24 VDC standard; Custom Voltages available.
Custom Plungers available to match your requirements.
